His family would like to thank the nursing staff at Golden Years for their compassion and dedication during his time there as both an employee and resident; as well as, Ascend Hospice for their compassionate care during his final days. A celebration of Tim's life will be held in the near future to honor his memory and the impact he had on all who knew him.
Tim was a devoted family man, a dedicated business administrator, and a true fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals. Born in Lima, Ohio on July 30, 1975, to David and Susan Goodfield, Tim grew up in Bates County, MO, with his mom and stepfather, Susan and Bruce Lavender. He earned his Bachelor's degree from National American University and went on to have a successful career in the healthcare industry, recently working at Golden Years Center for Rehab and Healthcare in Harrisonville as their business administrator.
Tim had a zest for life and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and extended family. He was always up for a good time, whether it was watching sports, listening to music, or playing video games with his kids. He was a regular at his children's games, cheering them on with unwavering support. In his free time, Tim loved taking his family on fun outings to places like the zoo, Science City, and Wonderscope. He was a man of simple pleasures who found joy in spending time with his loved ones and creating lasting memories.
Tim will be dearly missed by his daughter, Megan (Randy Meredith) Goodfield; his sons: Logan (Eva Friday) Goodfield, Ryun (Faith Engleman) Goodfield, and Ean Goodfield; his mother, Susan (Bruce) Lavender; his father, David Goodfield; his brother, Patrick (Virginia Bradley) Goodfield; his sister, Anne (Chris) Dehn; his 5 grandchildren; his nephews: Sean Dehn and Zach Dehn; his niece, Lizzie Dehn; the mother of his children, Beth Goodfield; and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
