Wilma Kay Vinyard, age 73 of Butler, Missouri died Friday, March 29, 2024 at her home. She was born October 12, 1950 in Charles Fredrick and Wilma Blanche Hauser Saunders in Waterloo, Iowa.
Wilma, one of seven children, grew up and attended school in Waterloo, Iowa where she graduated high school. She had lived in Oshkosh, Nina, Berlin and Wautoma, Wisconsin before moving to Pleasant Hill and Butler, Missouri. Wilma was a homemaker and a Certified Nurses Assistance in Wisconsin. She married Gerald Edward Vinyard.
Wilma was known to be loving but yet ornery. She loved reading, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her cats and dogs.
Wilma is survived by four sons, Paul Ramirez of Butler, Missouri, James Ramirez of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Darrell Vinyard of Missouri and Scott Vinyard of Independence, Missouri; a daughter, Tracy Secrist and husband Steve, Pleasant Hill, Missouri; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Fred Saunders of Wisconsin and William Saunders of Texas; and three sisters, Hazel, Nancy and Judy Saunders all of Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Vinyard in 2013; and a sister, Norma Saunders.
