Officers responded to the area and found the reported vehicle at a McDonald's restaurant at 1125 S. Broadway St. The vehicle was occupied by 19 year old Eric Taylor of Kansas City and 19 year old Makiya Reeves of Fort Scott, KS.
Through their investigation, Pittsburg Police learned the vehicle and firearm found in the vehicle had been stolen in Kansas City, MO.
Taylor was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a weapon by a felon.
Reeves was taken into custody and charged with possession of stolen property and possession of a stolen firearm.
