The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the westbound 2008 Buick Lucerne driven by 21 year old Dakota M. Tiedeman of Archie, Missouri failed to negotiate a curve, and the vehicle traveled off the roadway. The car then struck a sign and a fence.
A passenger in the vehicle 18 year old Valentina Landeros-Quiroz of Butler, Missouri sustained minor injuries and she will seek her own medical treatment at a later time.
