Obituary - Clarence Lee Miller

Clarence Lee Miller, age 61, La Cygne, Kansas passed away Wednesday May 8, 2024.He was born in La Cygne, Kansas on August 7, 1962, the son of Roy and Velma Anderson Miller. After graduating from high school, Clarence received certification as a CNA, CMA, and HHA, dedicating over 35 yrs. of his life to the care and compassion of others. With most of those years spent in the hospice care industry. Clarence was a role model of selflessness and goodwill, always putting others first and finding joy by giving.

An avid Star Trek fan, Clarence Loved the holidays, baking, cooking, gardening, and being able to share his passions with the ones he loved. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, a special friend, Jimmy Wolverton, two brothers, Larry and Oscar Miller, and a sister Bessie Rich. Clarence is survived by a sister, Betty Jackson, a brother, Richard Miller and wife Janice, a niece, often perceived as his sister, Konnie Reed and husband Bobby, and his faithful dog, Athena. Clarence also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews who all meant the world to him.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday, May 10, 2024, at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, La Cygne Chapel. The burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 am, an hour before service Friday at the La Cygne Chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to Olathe Hospice.
