Rich Hill man seriously injured in Southern Missouri crash

On Friday May 10th around 2:30 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Lawrence County along with Lawrence County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a multiple vehicle accident on Missouri 96 Highway around two miles south of Miller.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2003 Cadillac Escalade driven by 73 year old Joseph W. Adams of Rich Hill, Missouri was eastbound when he attempted to pass a 2007 Freightliner Cascadia driven by 56 year old Jose R. Velasco of Horizon City, Texas. Mr. Adams then struck an oncoming 2001 Ford F-450 driven by 47 year old Jennifer L. Beyer of Miller, Missouri causing Adam's vehicle to overturn.

Mr. Adams sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported by Air Ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri for treatment.
