George Steven Clark, 72, of Harrisonville, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM at the VFW in Harrisonville, MO. Military honors will take place at 1:30 PM. All are welcome to attend.

George was born September 2, 1951 to James and Evelyn Clark in Austin, Minnesota. He graduated from Belton High School in 1969. After high school, he joined the United States Air Force and was eventually stationed in Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho. After the Air Force, he moved back to the Kansas City Area and married Patty Butler on July 26, 1980.

They settled in Belton, MO, and raised their children: Sean, James and Kathy. George and Patty had many adventures over the years, but their proudest achievements are their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. George loved hunting and fishing. He really loved doing those things with his brothers, sister, children and grandchildren. George was an avid KC Royals and KC Chiefs fan.

He especially loved getting to watch the Chiefs win their super bowls with his children. George was happiest when he was surrounded by friends and family and he could cook for them. He made the best pizza and was always looking for a good recipe for a good chocolate cake.

George is preceded in death by his parents, James and Evelyn Clark, and a sister, Lynn. He is survived by his wife, Patty Clark; his children: Sean (Sara) Clark, James (Dawn) Butler, and Kathy (Lejames) Cauthon; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Alejandro, Leigh, Violet, and Marley Delgado, William Woods (Alycia), Ayden Woods (Gabriel), Hunter Clark (Lydia), Tamara Butler (David), Kelsey Butler (William), Zaylen and Oliver; Sierra Johnson (Rob), Rowan and Jamison, Shelbe Nielsen (Sven), Anika and Beau, Tylar Cauthon (Holly) and Declan. He is also survived by brothers: Jay Clark, Jr., Cotton Clark, Paul Clark; his sister, Marlene Wyatt (Rob); and by many nieces, nephews, and multitudes of friends that are like family.
