Butler gets huge road win tonight in Windsor...

The Butler Bears (3-4) hit the road tonight as they traveled to take on the Windsor Greyhounds (6-1) in high school football action.

Windsor would take the opening kick off and have a nearly 9 minute drive before scoring in a short touchdown run by sophomore Rowan Cox. The conversion was good and the greyhounds lead 8-0.

Butler would get the ball and strike fast on 1 play as Junior Jake Chandler broke a 60 yard touchdown run. The conversion was good and the bears would tie the game 8-8. The 2nd quarter was a defensive battle as both teams would head into halftime time 8-8.

Butler would get the ball first in 2nd half and they would capitalize taking the lead on a short touchdown run by Junior quarterback Kellen Long. The conversion was no good Butler would lead 14-8.

Butler would get a great 4th down stand at their own 5 yard line with 2:52 left in the 4th and they would go on to win the game with the final score 14-8. The bears move to 4-4 on the season and they will be at home next week as it will be Senior night against El Dorado Springs.
