The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the north bound 2008 Ford Taurus driven by a 39 year old Michael F. Smith of Clinton, Missouri traveld off of the roadway, struck an embankment, a fence, and a utility pole, before overturning.
Mr. Smith was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Bradley Hadley Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
