Letter from the St. Clair County Sheriff

On October 12th, St. Clair County Deputies responded to a call for service on NE 364 Road in Osceola, in regards to a burglary. The reporting party informed the deputies that their front door frame had been broken, and their house had multiple items stolen from it. The items stolen included multiple firearms, checkbooks, clothing, jewelry, tools, and a crossbow. In total, $300 worth of damage was done, and the stolen property was valued at approximately $9,794.

During the area canvas, deputies were able to locate evidence that led them to the Wildflower Inn. After further investigation, 2 suspects were located at Casey’s General Store in Osceola, where they were both promptly arrested. A search of their motel room resulted in various stolen items being found, and drug paraphernalia that field tested positive for methamphetamine.

Madison Neece was arrested and charged for Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Tampering with Motor Vehicle - 2nd Degree, and Receiving Stolen Property with a bond set at $15,000 cash or surety. Camrynn McDonald was arrested and charged with Tampering with Motor Vehicle - 1st Degree, and Receiving Stolen Property with a bond set at $15,000 cash or surety. Charges have also been submitted to the St. Clair County Prosecuting Attorney for Burglary - 2nd Degree.
