On October 19, 2024, Beverly Ann “Bevy” Andes, loving wife, mother, Christian, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away at the age of 77. Beverly led a full and meaningful life in these many roles.
On March 29, 1947 she was born in Holden, Missouri. She was the sixth of seven children. Brothers, Raymond, John, James, and Richard Riffle. Sister Barbara Davis and youngest brother Donald Riffle.
In the summer of 1965 she met Berle Arlan “Andy” Andes, they were married on September 8, 1967 and were together for over 56 years. He preceded her to heaven on March 18, 2024. Of this union, two children were born Anita Andes [Edwards] Abby Weber [Joshua] Andrew Edwards [Audrey Jansen] Alex Edwards and Chris Andes [Tonya Knipp] Andes, Dominic and Gavan Andes.
Beverly was happiest when she was surrounded by family, at church, or reading her bible. She loved making others feel special, gardening, and filling her time with good memories. She was one of the kindest, giving women that ever lived.
Beverly retired from Garden City/Lead Bank after 40 plus years. After realizing she needed “something else to do” she went back to Community First Bank part time.
Beverly was a gentle soul that loved and listened completely. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Glada Riffle, Father and mother in-law Clifford Andes and Eloise. Three brothers (Raymond, John, James), one brother in law (Bill Davis), and one sister in law (Barbara Riffle).
Beverly was the cornerstone in many lives and will be missed immensely, but never forgotten. She was a blessing to everyone she met and we were blessed to be a part of her life.
