Zeb “Zebadoo” Michael Robertson age 44 of Butler, Missouri died Thursday, October 17, 2024 at his home. He was born on July 14, 1980 to John Michael Robertson and Connie Bea DeLong in Kansas City, Missouri.
Zeb grew up on the westside of Kansas City, Missouri where he attended the Kansas City Middle School of the Arts, where he met Jolene and they were married on August 27, 2024. He continued his education at Alta Vista High School, forming friendships and memories that lasted a lifetime. Zeb moved to Butler, Missouri in 2012 dedicated years of service to his community, working in maintenance at McDonald's and taking pride in every task he undertook. His diligence was only matched by his love for spending quality time with his family and son, with whom he shared a profound and unparalleled bond. He was a man who found joy in working on cars and anything that allowed him to work with his hands.
Remembered as the embodiment of love and friendship, Zeb possessed a remarkable ability to help and surprise others. His generous spirit and hearty appetite for life enriched the lives of all who knew him. Zebadoo's legacy of warmth and kindness will forever be etched in the hearts of his family and friends.
Zebadoo is survived by his wife Jolene Rene Berg-Robertson and a son, Brodie Robertson both of the home; three stepsons, Dalton Rooks and wife Saryn of Harrisonville, Missouri, Dominic Lentz and Noah Lentz both of Butler, Missouri; his mother, Connie Medina of Tonganoxie, Kansas; his stepfather, Manuel Medina and wife Rachel of Kansas City, Missouri; his aunt and uncle, Jody and Roger DeLong of Bonner Springs, Kansas; three brothers, Manuel Medina Jr of Kansas City, Missouri, Josh Robertson of Missouri and John Grado of New York; and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; his maternal grandmother and grandfather, Laure and Harold DeLong; a sister, Veronica Medina; and an uncle, Ernie DeLong.
