Peculiar man charged with 10 counts of Child Pornography

Around noon on Thursday October 17, Cass County detectives assigned to the Western Missouri Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (WMICAC) served a search warrant in rural Peculiar. As a result, they arrested 45-year-old Toby Schultz of Peculiar.

Mr. Schultz is charged with 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography, which is a Class B Felony.

Schultz is currently in the Cass County Jail, with no bond allowed.
Detectives were acting on tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The Western Missouri Internet Crimes Against Children (WMICAC) Task Force is spearheaded by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and consists of personnel from agencies within Cass, Johnson, Bates, Henry, Saline, Lafayette, and Pettis counties.
