Public Service Announcement from the Harrisonville Area Chamber of Commerce

We have received concerns posted to a local Facebook group about the carnival we hosted during the Log Cabin Festival. Unfortunately, the chamber was not a "member" of this Facebook group until last night and was unaware of these posts.

We are currently investigating the issues detailed within that group. In the future, we would encourage anyone concerned about the festival to contact the chamber directly through Facebook messenger, by calling 816-380-5271, or by stopping in to see us at our office.

The chamber works to maintain a festival environment that is fun and, above all else, safe. We have worked with our carnival provider for five years and this is the first time we have received any serious complaints concerning safety procedures.

We will fully investigate all concerns and do our best to address them before the next festival. We thank everyone for their support and we will see you next year!
