Aftershock 14U trailed by as many as five, but came back to defeat Kc Rivers dawgs on Saturday, 10-8. Kc Rivers dawgs got on the board in the top of the first inning after Emersyn drew a walk, scoring one run, Sara tripled, scoring three runs, and #22 singled, scoring one run.

AfterShock 14U scored five runs on two hits in the bottom of the first inning. Kamryn Fritts drew a walk, scoring one run, Lyla Eldred drew a walk, scoring one run, Kinley Cook doubled, scoring two runs, and a steal of home scored one run.

In the top of the second, Kc Rivers dawgs broke up the tie when Kayla doubled, scoring two runs. Then a ground out by Emersyn followed to extend the lead to 8-5.

AfterShock 14U flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the second, scoring five runs on three hits to take the lead, 10-8. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Lyla Eldred on the sixth pitch of the at-bat that drove in two.

Ella Bauer earned the win for AfterShock 14U. The pitcher allowed zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out one and walking none. Sara took the loss for Kc Rivers dawgs. The pitcher went two-thirds of an inning, surrendering three runs on three hits, striking out two and walking two. Aryan Stodgell began the game for AfterShock 14U.

The right-handed pitcher gave up five hits and eight runs over two innings, striking out two and walking six. Emersyn led things off in the circle for Kc Rivers dawgs. The starter surrendered two hits and seven runs over one and one-third innings, striking out one and walking six.

Kinley Cook, the number eight hitter for AfterShock 14U, led the way with three runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-2 on the day. Ella Bauer paced AfterShock 14U with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, amassing eight walks for the game. Kylee Murray, Kaidence Hudson, Lyla Eldred, Kamryn Fritts, and Ella Bauer each stole multiple bases for AfterShock 14U. AfterShock 14U ran wild on the base paths, amassing 20 stolen bases for the game.

Val, Chealsea, Kayla, Sara, and #22 each collected one hit for Kc Rivers dawgs. Sara went 1-for-1 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in. Val and Chealsea each stole multiple bases for Kc Rivers dawgs. Kc Rivers dawgs had a strong eye at the plate, piling up six walks for the game. Kc Rivers dawgs stole eight bases in the game.
