Jon was born September 24, 1967, to Richard Dean Johnson and Carol Joyce Weems in Fort Scott, Kansas. He grew up in the Pleasanton, KS, area and attended school there.
He welded for RLC in Pleasanton, KS, and most recently was a farmhand. Jon Michael loved spending time outdoors, whether it was fishing, building fires, or skipping rocks. He also enjoyed woodworking and would use that skill to make picture frames and other art pieces. He loved watching Andy Griffith and Rick and Morty; and watching and cheering the Kansas City Chiefs was a lifelong passion of Jon's. His children were his world, he was known by many as "the best dad." He also especially loved his beloved dog, Hank.
Jon is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Randy Johnson and Morgan Johnson; and nephew, Jesse Floyd Johnson. He is survived by his children: Alexis Johnson and husband, Hayden Reno, of Butler, MO; Holly Johnson of Adrian, MO; Roam Johnson of Adrian, MO; Sydney Johnson of Adrian, MO; Gianna Arthur of Weir, KS; and Michael Jon Arthur; grandchildren: Lucas, Landon, Lyric, Lexy, Bryce, Addyson, and Gavin; and brothers: Lee Johnson and his wife, Tara; and Jaime Parker and his wife, Laura. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Always remembered, never forgotten. Rest in paradise.
