Fleeing subject taken into custody in Vernon county

The Vernon County Sheriff's Office attempted to make a routine traffic stop after the subject, Michael Anderson 30, stopped then fled the scene in his car. After a brief pursuit the subject fled on foot after he wrecked his car. Sheriff Buehler was able to deploy a drone from Vernon County Emergency Management.

The suspect was located immediately. The suspect was taken into custody and placed in the Vernon County Jail on charges of Property Damage - 2nd Degree; Aggravated Fleeing a Stop or Detention
$10,000.00; Cash Only Bond.

One Officer was injured during the foot pursuit and was taken to NRMC. I would like to give a huge THANK YOU to Nevada Police and Emergency Management for their assistance in helping us capture the suspect. "The streets are safer when all departments work together" says Sheriff Buehler.
