On March 6 just after 2:30 pm Vernon County Dispatch received a call of a burglary in progress around the Schell City area. Later dispatch advised deputies that a neighbor had 3 subjects at gunpoint.
Upon arrival Deputies took the 3 male subjects were into custody on a 24 hr. investigative hold. Deputies found their vehicle sitting by the house with what appeared to be numerous items that had been taken from the house and sat beside the vehicle. All 3 subjects were transported to the Vernon County Jail where they are being held.
Charges are being sent over to the Vernon County Prosecutor and are awaiting formal charges. "Subjects involved are innocent until proven guilty"
