BHS graduate, George Bruto, Class of 1965, is recognized by the BHS Alumni Association for his many years of service as a teacher and coach of the Adrian Blackhawks. A few years ago, the Adrian school district constructed a new football complex just east of Adrian on Highway 18. The complex was named after Coach Bruto, who led the Blackhawks to numerous state championships. George's wife, Patty Ingram Bruto, is also a BHS graduate, Class of 1967.
