This was the scene earlier today in Adrian as authorities piece together a string of attempted ATM robberies overnight which included targets at Citizen's Bank and possibly others in Butler.
Thieves appear to be targeting rural town ATMs as just recently Adrian Bank took steps to reinforce their outdoor units following an attempted break in a few weeks ago.
Currently the Bates County Sheriff's Office is looking for a gray Kia Soul with tail light damage and potentially occupied by two males who may be considered suspects. If anyone has information, please call 911 or the sheriff's office at 660-679-3232.
