Harrisonville Middle School student Emilee Burkitt recently appeared on KCUR 89.3 Up to Date with Steve Kraske. After earning 3rd place in the local Civics Bee, Emilee was invited, along with 1st place winner Kennady Smith from Raymore-Peculiar School District, to share about her Civics Bee essay, her experience competing, and learning about Civics.
