Notice from the city of Drexel

The City of Drexel would like to inform you that Meyer Excavating will be in town starting the week of May 26, 2025, to work on our Lead & Copper Inventory. The contractor will be excavating a small pit on both sides of the water meters to identify the material type of the water service line at each residence.

This inventory is to meet the compliance requirements for the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and the Environmental Protection Agency. Thank you for your patience while we work on completing this inventory.
