For some time the city of Butler has been working to obtain a K-9 for drug searches and other duties, and today Officer Todd Hecox introduced 'Enzo' to the public as seen here.
When doing drug searches in particular, time is of the essence and waiting for a dog from another agency has been an issue in the past, adding the need for the Butler Police Department to get their own.
Hecox and Enzo still have a bit of training to do and the dog will be ready for service in about a month.
