John David “Dave” Miller, age 72 of Butler, Missouri died Sunday, June 1, 2025 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. He was born November 14, 1952 to Paul Vernon and Alva Marie Simmons Miller in Harrisonville, Missouri.
Dave is survived by four daughters, Renee Sargent and husband Lance of Butler, Missouri, Mandi Miller of Harrisonville, Missouri, Jessica Kirk and husband Cory of Butler, Missouri and Andrea Miller of Amoret, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Breann Thompson and husband Jacob, Baustin Sargent and fiancé Cheyene, Brooklyn Sargent, Ciara Miller, Taylor Kirk, Bella Kirk, Carter Kirk and Alexander Miller; and three great-grandchildren, Juliann Thompson, Jett Thompson and Ellie Sargent. Dave was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, James Miller, Dickie Miller and infant brother, Dennis Miller; two sisters, Paula Jackson and Linda Long; and one nephew, Jeff Jackson.
