In an undercover operation, Clinton Police Captain John Scott entered the establishment under the pretense of seeking a massage but instead was offered sexual services. Following arrest of the individuals, an investigation revealed possible human trafficking at the location as well, according to the probable cause statement.
Witnesses say different workers have been seen entering the business for several months. It was also revealed that individuals were living inside the business and most workers visited the establishment one time and were not seen again.
Yan and Chen face one count each of 3rd degree Promotion of Prostitution and are currently being held in the Henry County jail on $50,000 cash only bonds.
The Clinton Police Department urges anyone with information regarding this case to contact law enforcement immediately.
