Wanted sex trafficker behind bars in Cass County

On August 14, 2025, Cass County Detectives assigned to the Western Missouri Internet Crimes Against Children (WMICAC) requested an arrest warrant regarding additional charges in an active investigation.

With assistance from the Midwest Violent Fugitive Task Force (U.S. Marshals) and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies arrested 21-year-old Andrew Bain of Lee’s Summit.
This investigation began in June of 2025 when a tip was received from the Kansas City Crime Stoppers Tipline, and Bain was identified as a person of interest.
Bain is charged with Two Felony counts of Sexual Trafficking Of A Child - 2nd Degree (U Felony), and Nine Misdemeanors for Furnishing Pornographic Material Or Attempt To Furnish To A Minor (A Misdemeanor).
Bain is currently held at the Cass County Jail with no bond allowed.
The WMICAC Task Force is spearheaded by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and consists of personnel from agencies within Cass, Bates, Henry, Johnson, Lafayette, Pettis and Saline Counties. WMICAC is an affiliate of the Missouri Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (MOICAC).
