Lourita Ann Jamsek, age 77, of Clinton, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 26, 2026 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel in Clinton, Missouri. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service. A private family burial will take place in the Vansant Road Cemetery in Clinton, Missouri. Memorial contributions can be made to the Clinton Animal Rescue Endeavor (C.A.R.E.) and may be left in care of the funeral home.
Lourita Ann Jamsek was born on January 22, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Lonnie and Virginia Nall.
She attended Osceola schools and then graduated to later attend beauty school in Raytown Missouri. She owned Rita’s Hairtique in Nevada, Missouri, where she raised her kids. She later moved to Clinton and was property manager of Clark Properties up until her passing.
She had several hobbies and she loved her life. She enjoyed quilting, crafting, playing bingo, and going to garage sales. She also loved her pets Sadie, Connor and Toby. She had a witty personality and was stubborn, strong willed, widely independent and very stylish. She loved drinking her tea and coffee, watching her soap operas and spending time with her grandkids as much as she could.
Lourita was a volunteer at VFW Post 1894 as the auxiliary secretary. She volunteered at the Samaritan Center and Experience Works, but most of all Rita loved volunteering her time with her kids and grandkids more than anything else.
She leaves behind her daughter Lisa Reginia Jamsek, her son John Wesley Jamsek, daughter-in-law Tabetha Marie Jamsek, four grandchildren; Jacob Levi Jamsek, Trinity Dawn Capek, Paytyn Marie Jamsek, and Virginia Mae Jamsek, also surviving is her ex-husband John and Debbie Jamsek of Clinton, her two sisters Martha Beach, and Linda Thomas Brubaker of Osceola.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Virginia Nall and brothers Warren and Rex Nall. She will be deeply missed but her legacy of love will live on through her children and grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
