Janice Louise Lamb was born on April 16, 1954, to William G. Nelson and Evelyn Jane Nelson, and she went to meet the Lord on February 23, 2026.
Janice married David Lee Lamb on May 30, 1975. Four years later, they relocated to Trading Post near Pleasanton, KS, where she raised her children in the country, teaching them the love of the land and wildlife.
Janice began her community employment when she started working for Wildwood Outdoor Education Center in LaCygne, KS, as a kitchen manager. They later relocated to Fort Scott, KS, where she served the elderly and continued in that line of work throughout the years.
She attended services at Church of the Nazarene in Fort Scott, KS. She enjoyed helping people, spending time with her grandchildren, her puppies, and making crafts. Janice loved life, family, and most of all God, as she lived her life for Him daily.
Janice is survived by her husband David of 50 years; her children, Geneane Lamb of Ontario, Canada, Larry Lamb and fiancé Denna Martin of Arma, KS, and Christina Lamb and wife Tiffany Loar of Nevada, MO; two sisters, Barbara Wheeler and Terry Skinner and their families; along with 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
There will not be any services at this time. Courtesy Ferry Funeral Home.
