Shortly before 1:30 this afternoon the Butler fire department was called to 715 Country Club drive on a report of heavy smoke showing from the rear of the residence. Upon arrival, firemen made quick work of dousing the flames which appeared to be contained to the deck area.
As crews remain on the scene at this time, the cause is yet to be determined.
