Butler FCCLA took four students to State Competition in Springfield March 15-17. We had students compete in Star Events and Show Me Skills events. The results are:
Makenzie Algiere- Venture NLC placed in the top 5 with a Bronze Rating
Abbagail Vunovich - Toys that Teach- received a Bronze rating
Breanna Werner -Repurpose & Redesign- received a Bronze rating
Abbagail Vunovich and Addison Hawks- Interior Design placed in the top 5 with a silver rating
Show -Me Skills competition are state only contests. To compete in Star events at state our students had to place in the top 2 at regionals. There are 14 regions in the state of Missouri so to place high enough to compete is an honor. This is my second year taking students to competition and I am very proud of our students and the effort they put into their projects. On the way home they are already planning for next year.
