Happy Social Work Month to EMH Patient Advocate/Social Services Manager, Julie Grubb!
In her role Julie provides non-medical support to EMH patients and their families by helping them navigate the healthcare system, coordinating their discharge planning, connecting them to community resources, and advocating for their needs. With an abundance of compassion and empathy, Julie works closely with patients and their families and regularly stays late or comes in outside of her normal working hours to ensure patient needs are being met. Julie is a valuable asset to EMH and a blessing to EMH patients. Thank you for all of your hard work Julie!
