Entering Hume, MO you now will be greeted by this fantastic sign, thanks to a grant made available with help from the MU Extension Office in Butler
The project was spearheaded by the Hume Garden Club who was already busy with fundraising and the additional monies will help bring the effort to completion in coming weeks by adding landscaping and lighting.
"It’s people like this that make communities better. They steadily keep working toward something, and little by little, things happen. True champions of their communities" says Sara Bridgewater of the Extension office who invites other communities to contact her regarding similar projects.
