Adrian woman accused of theft from church, Grand Jury Indictment filed

 According to a Grand Jury Indictment filed in Bates County on July 14, 2026, Angela Loughridge of Adrian MO is accused of thefts related to bank accounts held by the Adrian Assembly of God Church over roughly a two year period beginning in July of 2023.

The indictment includes one count of stealing $25,000 or more and six counts of forgery related to checks written without consent of the church:

2. Atmp-Forgery { Felony D RSMo: 570.090 }

Charges 2 through 7 refer to checks written and signed without consent totaling $10.136.18.

Arraignment is scheduled for Loughridge on July 27, 2026 in the Bates County Circuit Court.
