Area firefighters pulled their forces Friday May 27 and Saturday May 28 and held a boot block in Adrian.  The fire departments included Adrian, Amsterdam, Central Cass and Drexel.  It was a great success they raised over 10 thousand dollars for the victims of Joplin's tornado.

On Sunday May 29 personal from Adrian and Amsterdam fire departments took a check to Joplin and donated it to the Salvation Army.  While they were there they also donated their time and the salvation army put them to work doing everything from sorting clothes, unloading trailers to putting care packages together.

Thanks to all the fire departments for your help and thank you to the people for your generous donations.
