Metro Squad Activated in Cass County Death Investigation

Cass Co. – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office has now activated the Metro Squad to assist in the investigation of a female found deceased.  The Metro Squad brings investigative resources from numerous metro law enforcement agencies.

The Cass County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a death near I-49 and Peculiar Drive, approximately 2 miles north of Harrisonville.

Passerby discovered the body of a white female in the ditch between the southbound lanes of I-49 and Peculiar Drive around 11:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

The investigation into the identity of the victim is ongoing and will be released at a later time. 

Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.

Clinton woman arrested for 3rd degree felony domestic assault

Jessica Lynn Radford- Pearson

On 9/18/16 around 10:30pm the Clinton Police Department arrested 30 year old Jessica Lynn Radford- Pearson of Clinton, Missouri.

She was arrested for 1.) 3rd Degree Felony Domestic Assault.

Jessica Lynn Radford- Pearson was booked into the Henry County Jail and placed on a $500 Cash/Surety bond.














30 year of Jessica Lynn Radford of Clinton was arrested Sunday at 10:30pm at 317 North Third St. for domestic  assault in the third degree.

Harrisonville man arrested in Platte County for cocaine possession

On 9/18/16 around 10:35pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County arrested 21 year old Jared A. Lindley of Harrisonville, Missouri.

Mr. Lindley was arrested for 1.) Possession of a Controlled Substance - Cocaine 2.) Two misdemeanor Kansas City Police Department Warrants.

He was booked into the Kansas City Police Department Shoal Creek Division and he is currently listed as bondable.

Drexel man arrested for involuntary manslaughter after Cass County accident

On 9/18/16 around 6:53pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County arrested 43 year old Jeffery B. Young of Drexel, Missouri.

Mr. Young was arrested for 1.) Felony Involuntary Manslaughter 2.) Driving While Intoxicated.

He was booked into the Cass County Jail and is currently placed on a 24 hour investigative hold.

Fatality accident claims the life of 21 year old Cass County woman

On 9/18/16 around 4:45pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with Cass County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a two vehicle fatality accident on Missouri Route O at Missouri Route W in rural Cass County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when 2013 Chevrolet driven by 21 year old Shelby K. Admire of Cleveland, Missouri pulled into the path of the 2006 Ford driven by 43 year old Jeffery B. Young of Drexel, Missouri and struck the vehicle on the drivers side door.

Shelby K. Admire was transported by ambulance to Cass Regional Medical Center were she was pronounced dead at 5:03pm.

Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene by Johnson's Tow of Harrisonville.

This is the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop A's 50th fatality accident of 2016.

Vicky Lynn Frey

Vicky Lynn Frey, age 51 of Freeman, MO, passed away September 14, 2016 after her battle with cancer.

Vicky was born September 13, 1965 in Raytown, MO.

Vicky is survived by her life partner Mark Burdick of Freeman, MO; her daughter Stacey Douty and grandson DJ of Butler, MO, her brother Luke Breshears and her sister Lisa Breshears.

The family wishes donations be given in Vicky's memory to Kansas City Hospice House for the wonderful care Julie and Annie provided or to her grandson, DJ and may be sent to the Citizens Bank, 19 S Orange St Butler Mo 64730. Vicky will be missed but not forgotten

Stockton man arrested in Vernon County

On 9/18/16 around 3:02pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County arrested 19 year old Lee G. Queen of Stockton, Missouri.

Mr. Queen was arrested for 1.) Misdemeanor Eldorado Springs Police Department Warrant - FTA ASSAULT 2.) Driving while revoked 3.) Speed 4.) Passed Vehicle on Shoulder 5.) No seatbelt.

He was booked into the Vernon County Jail and is currently listed as bondable.
