On 9/18/16 around 4:45pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with Cass County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a two vehicle fatality accident on Missouri Route O at Missouri Route W in rural Cass County.The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when 2013 Chevrolet driven by 21 year old Shelby K. Admire of Cleveland, Missouri pulled into the path of the 2006 Ford driven by 43 year old Jeffery B. Young of Drexel, Missouri and struck the vehicle on the drivers side door.
Shelby K. Admire was transported by ambulance to Cass Regional Medical Center were she was pronounced dead at 5:03pm.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene by Johnson's Tow of Harrisonville.
This is the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop A's 50th fatality accident of 2016.
