Love playing the guitar?

Love playing guitar? Want to use your talents to praise God? Or do you just love being part of a band? We are looking for an experienced guitarist to join our praise band at our contemporary worship service at Ohio St United Methodist Church in Butler Mo.

Knowledge of contemporary christian music would definitely be a plus. We have a bass player and drummer in place, as well as several vocalists. But if you have the ability to sing as well, that would be wonderful.

We are all very easy to work with and are really looking for someone who wants to be part of a team. We are moving our contemporary service from our main church to a really cool location in the next few months, and want to hit the ground running with a great praise band.

Currently service starts at 8:45 am on Sundays. It lasts around 1 hour. Feel free to contact Mike McCrary at 660-679-1738 with any questions that you might have. Thanks!!!

From the desk of Greg Mullinax

Greg Mullinax
Some of you may have no reason to know, so I thought I'd remind you how lucky we are in Bates County to have the medical and rehabilitation options we do.

I'm reminded of this as I have been meeting with staff at every licensed healthcare facility throughout the county.

Today I was privileged to have productive meetings with nursing staff at Breezy Meadows Rehabilitation Center in Butler and Bates County Memorial Hospital Emergency Department.

Yesterday, a great visit to Adrian Manor in Adrian. We are surrounded by dedicated healthcare professionals who have the best interests of their patients at heart.

People are often quick to point out what we don't have, but this is an area in which we are fortunate. - Just my thoughts!

From Newly Elected Bates County Coroner Greg D. Mullinax
