Large snake found dead in Allen County Kansas

No matter the size, we aren't real big fans of snakes live or dead. But that doesn't mean we don't investigate crimes involving them.

This 15' 8" snake was found dead on Sunday, February 5, down by the Elm Creek Bridge south of Iola. We don't know if it was dead when it was left or if it was just dumped like trash.

If you know who this animal belonged to, please contact the Allen County Sheriff's Office at 620-365-1400 or send us a private message through this Facebook page. You can remain anonymous.
