No bond arrest warrant issued for Lowry City man

Shane Stewart
Last week a St. Clair County no bond warrant was issued for Shane Stewart, 37, Lowry City, charging him with failing to abide by a judge’s order. Stewart is originally charged with class B felony distribution/ delivery/ manufacture/ produce a controlled substance, class C felony possession of a controlled substance, class C felony unlawful possession of a firearm, class D felony unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and class A misdemeanor unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

The charges stem from a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office investigation on Oct. 27, 2016 when a narcotics search warrant was executed at a camper located in Twin Oaks Harbor, Lowry City.

During a search of the residence several items of contraband were located throughout the camper. Items included a crystalline substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine, several new plastic bags, and digital scales.

Sheriff Keeler urges those with any information related to the location of Stewart to contact the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office Tip Line, 417-646-5832, or email to tips@scsomo.org.

Traffic stop leads to three arrests for felony drug possession

On Feb. 15, a traffic stop conducted by a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office deputy led to three individuals being taken into custody on felony drug charges.

On Feb. 16, Matthew Todd, 39, Deepwater, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him several felony drug charges. Todd is charged with a class C felony delivery of a controlled substance, two counts of class D felony possession of a controlled substance, and a class D misdemeanor of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond is set at $ 25,000 cash or surety.

On February 16, Helen Gowin, 57, Blairstown, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with class D felony possession of a controlled substance and class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond is set at $20,000 cash or surety.
On February 16, Amy Hastings, 43, Urich, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with class D felony possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $20,000 cash or surety.

During the investigation contact was made with the driver of the vehicle, Todd, and it was determined he had an active arrest warrant for a probation violation on an original class C felony charge of domestic assault-second degree from Henry County. During a search of the vehicle a spoon with residue that field tested positive for methamphetamine and several syringes were located. A prescription pill bottle was located with Todd's name on it. The pills inside were not what the prescription was for and were later identified as hydrocodone. Todd made admissions the items located in the vehicle belonged to him.

The front seat passenger, Gowin, was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine. While handcuffed, she made admissions to having methamphetamine and paraphernalia hidden on her person. A female deputy located two bags containing a crystal substance, a glass pipe with residue that field tested positive for methamphetamine, and two bags containing marijuana on Gowin’s person.

Hastings, a passenger in the back seat, was also taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine. While handcuffed, she made admissions to having items hidden on her person. The female deputy located two bags containing a crystal substance which field tested positive for methamphetamine on Hasting's person.

Update on Baby Remington Craft 2/17/17

We skipped a little on the update yesterday.

Remi was moved to another room in the PICU and then we went to visit Kaiden, Addisyn, & Gracelyn for a bit. (We miss them sooo much) 😥

Remi turned really blue yesterday after a blood transfusion. Today Remi's 💜 has been over circulating, then under circulating...That causes her heart to stress more than they'd like, so they are keeping a close eye on her.

She still has her Central Line installed but no more IV fluids at this time. If she continues to over circulate then she will be hooked back up.

As of right now Remi only has the basic monitoring hookups and her NG Tube for feeding (less tubes and wires makes it so much easier to hold her). #RallyForRemington #chdawareness #HLHS
