On Wednesday, March 22, 2017 just before 10:00 a.m. Deputy Lambirth conducted a traffic stop on Circle Drive in Windsor after the vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign. The passenger in the vehicle also threw out an object from the vehicle just prior to the stop.
The subsequent investigation by Deputy Lambirth revealed that the object thrown from the vehicle contained nearly one pound of a white crystal substance believe to be methamphetamine.
During the arrest of the two occupants in the vehicle, Deputy Lambirth found a loaded handgun and several items of drug paraphernalia. Also over $5,500.00 in cash was taken from the two subjects as evidence.
Arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal use of a weapon were Robert Summers, age 32 of Windsor and Travis Hankins, age 30 of Leeton. Both subjects were currently on probation at the time of this arrest and probation violation warrants have been issued on both subjects for them to be held without bond at this time.
Sheriff Oberkrom said, "This is a significant disruption of the methamphetamine drug business in the Windsor community and we will continue to do our part to battle the drug trafficking in Henry County." The street value of methamphetamine seized is estimated to be $45,000 dollars.

Let's put those newfound map skills to the test. Here's a look at forecast high temperatures for Thursday and Friday. Looks pretty decent eh?
Well we'll likely see widespread drizzle and showers Thursday with thunderstorms likely Friday.
Some of the storms on Friday could be on the strong side. Stay tuned and we'll keep you updated on that potential.
Today is Remi's Great Grandpappy's birthday. When she had her cardiac arrest, he and great grandma Freddie packed up and headed back to Missouri to come meet her for the 1st time.
😊
Today Remi is stable. They stopped her paralytic yesterday morning in order to monitor her ST wave after her cath/ballooning procedure the other day. She will likely require an additional open heart surgery in a week or two to correct the issue with her DKS. (She will still need her other two surgeries to treat her HLHS).
Her left leg has a possible clot and isn't getting as much blood flow as it should, so they had to up her dose of anticoagulant. But this puts her brain at risk for another bleed, and if that happens it would effect her getting the surgery she will need.
Her kidneys are getting better... there is less blood and more of the gold urine color, so that is amazing!
Also, Remi has started to open her eyes today and every so often she will twitch her right arm.
