National Public Safety Telecommunications appreciation week

This week is National Public Safety Telecommunications appreciation week. If you've ever had call to contact the Police Department, Fire Department, or even the utility department after hours, you have probably spoken with one of our fine dispatchers.

They are a vital lifeline for those who need help in terrible situations and for your public safety personnel in the field.

So take time this week to thank a dispatcher, just please don't call 911 to do it. I hear they frown on that...
