Harrisonville Police Seeking Public Assistance

While it looks like this track suited guy is ready to go out for a run, he instead was leaving Walmart in Harrisonville after using someone else's identity to run off with three I-Phones.

If you know who this track star is, let us know because we want to "track" him down to discuss it. Give Detective Nichols a call at 816-380-8934 or message our Facebook page if you can help.

2019 Butler Street Project has started

The 2019 Butler Street Project has started on Dakota Street this morning. Check out the list of roads that will be repaired below:

To bee or not to bee?

Just recently, bees living in Summit School were moved to a new home. Bee keepers came and removed the bees, comb containing baby bees and took them to new permanent hives near Drexel. The bees have been at the school for a long time- you can see the comb attached to the walls of the school. Tasty honey dripped from the comb attached to boards in the wall. The comb and bees were put in carriers for transport and the honey saved. We'll miss their buzzing around but know they're off to a good home! A special thanks to the bee keepers for doing this difficult but important job. -courtesy Poplar Heights Living History Farm

Adrian FFA Officer Spotlight this week

Kyler Six will be serving as this year’s Adrian FFA Chapter Vice President. His SAE project is forage production placement. I recently asked Kyler what his favorite FFA memory was. Kyler’s favorite memory would be the experience of going to FFA state and competing against the best competitors in the state of Missouri. Kyler’s goals for the FFA are to have more competitive contest teams. He believes this year we will have the most state competitors. Also with the group of members we have this will be a very active group that will help grow this chapter even more. Kyler is looking forward to serving as your chapter Vice President.
