This is a great accomplishment and no one from Rich Hill has made it in either district band in a long time! Dakota will get to perform in the band on January 4th in Warrensburg!

Foster man arrested in Bates County

Mr. Swarens was arrested on 1.) Felony Warrant - Tamper/Attempt to tamper with a victim in a felony prosecution case.
He was booked into the Bates County Jail in Butler and he is currently being held on a $30,000 cash only bond.

Two injured in Henry County Crash
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2007 Kenworth driven by 50 year old Mitchell T. Ransdell of Appleton City, Missouri overtook and struck the rear of the 1997 Dodge Ram driven by 78 year old John R. Binyon of Osceola, Missouri.
Mr. Binyon along with a occupant in his vehicle 43 year old Aaron A. Brightwell of Clinton, Missouri both sustained minor injuries in this accident and both were transported by ambulance to Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville, Missouri for treatment.

Two from Butler injured in Cass County Crash
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2011 Chevrolet driven by 60 year old Richard N. Lane of Deepwater, Missouri became disabled in the roadway after striking a animal, the 2010 Lincoln driven by 55 year old Elizabeth L. Cullison of Butler, Missouri attempted to avoid but struck the rear of Mr. Lane's vehicle. The Cullison vehicle was then struck by a 2017 Ford driven by 66 year old James L. Hisky of Lees Summit, Missouri.
Elizabeth L. Cullison along with a passenger in her vehicle 70 year old Karen R. Edgemon of Butler, Missouri both sustained minor injuries in this accident and both were transported by ambulance to Cass County Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville, Missouri for treatment.
All three vehicles sustained extensive damages and were towed from the scene of the accident by Miller Tow and J's Southland Tow.

Obituary - Michael T. Young
Michael T. Young, 48 of Harrisonville, Missouri passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019.
Memorial services will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, November 17, 2019 at the Memorial Station in Belton, Missouri. Visitation and reception to follow the service.
Private family burial will take place in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, Missouri. Arrangements entrust to Mullinax Funeral Home, Butler (660-679-0009).
