Obituary - Adriyana McCloud
Adriyana D. McCloud, age 4, of Clinton, Missouri passed away early Tuesday morning, November 12, 2019 at her home.
Among surviving are her brother Avery and grandmother, Margie Briggs.
Funeral Arrangements are pending under the direction of the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton.

Garden City teen killed after being stuck by a semi truck
On 11/12/19 around 9:10pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County responded to a pedestrian that was stuck by a semi truck on Missouri 7 Highway and Route Z in Garden City, Missouri.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when 18 year old Masen A. Baugh of Garden City jumped into the path of the 2013 Freightliner driven by 31 year old Charles A. Hand of Harlingen, Texas.
Mr. Baugh was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and he was transported to Frontier Forensics.
This is Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's 62nd fatality accident of 2019.

Obituary - Michael "Mike" S. Maher
Michael "Mike" S. Maher, 70, Harrisonville, Missouri departed this life on Monday, November 11, 2019 at Meadowview of Harrisonville Health and Rehab.
He is survived by his wife, Charolett Maher of the home; a son, Jason Maher and wife Stacey, Adrian, Missouri; a daughter, Dawn Sousley, Harrisonville, Missouri; 6 grandchildren, Zachary, Alex, Addison, Ryan, Gage and Cooper; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial at Oakland Cemetery, Harrisonville, Missouri.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 15, 2019 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Memorial Fund.

Michael T. Young, 48 of Harrisonville, Missouri passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019. Memorial services will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, November 17, 2019 at the Memorial Station in Belton, Missouri.
Michael Thomas Young was born November 24, 1970 in Kansas City, Missouri to Thomas Gary Young and Ellen MiGinnis Holmes. He graduated from Ray-Pec High School in 1989 and was united in marriage to Christy Hayes on June 1, 1991. Together they raised three sons, Trevor, Preston, and Codie. Mike was baptized as one of Jehovahs Witnesses on February 21, 1987. He enjoyed volunteering in the full time ministry, construction, disaster relief, and serving as an Elder in the congregation.
Mike cherished the privilege of teaching others about Jehovah and the promise the Bible holds out for us. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, hiking, playing and watching sports with his boys. Mike loved to make people laugh. He was kind and loving. He will be truly missed by all until we see him again. Revelation 21:4.
Mike was preceded in death by his father Thomas Gary Young and his brother Mark Young. He is survived by his wife Christy Young, mother Ellen Holmes (Rick), his children, Trevor Young (Brittany), Preston Young, Codie Young, siblings, Karie Rogers, Jamie Garrison (Doug), Matt Young (Staci), and his brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation and reception to follow the service. Private family burial will take place in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, Missouri. Arrangements entrusted to Mullinax Funeral Home, Butler (660-679-0009). Memorial contributions are suggested in lieu of flowers to go to the family. Update: Street still closed in Harrisonville
UPDATE: Independence Street remains closed from Wall to Mechanic as crews work to clean up a cooking oil spill.
There is still no timeline for when the street will reopen.
