Obituary - Noble E. Davis

Noble E. Davis, age 82, of Peculiar, Missouri, formerly of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Saint Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, surrounded by his loving family.

A celebration of Noble’s life will be held at a later time.

Noble was born in Warrensburg, Missouri on September 15, 1937. He was the son of Noble Lawrence Davis and Elvira Marie (Lindeman) Davis. After graduating high school, Noble continued his education at the University of Kansas. He went on to establish an honorable career with Hallmark for forty-two years as a Graphic Engineer. In the summer of 1958, he was joined in marriage with his loving wife, Elizabeth “Jody” (Oberly) Davis on the twelfth day of July. Together they were blessed with two daughters Sharon and Kimberly. However, this was only the beginning of Noble’s life blessings, he and Jody later were blessed with grandchildren. Noble loved his career and had a passion for cars but it was family that mattered most to him. As a loving, supportive father and grandfather, he consistently provided his family a helping hand, wise counsel and attended all the important events in their lives. His selfless demeanor defined him.

Vote Brenda Cecil For Ward 2 Butler City Council

Brenda Cecil is asking for your vote for Ward 2 Butler City Council on April 7th!

A little background on Brenda… Being a graduate of Missouri Southern University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, I was afforded the opportunity to work for the State of Missouri at the Rich Hill Youth Development Center for 17 years.

While working at the Center, I led a group of 12 teenage boys and a professional staff team of 10 youth specialists. Other experiences include teaching, counseling, fire service, emergency management, running my own business, and various other service industry jobs. I have learned a lot about myself and others from each of these experiences and have become proficient at most everything I have put my hand to.

I don't quit. Through all of my experiences, I have developed a strong inclination toward helping people as well as the skills for leadership and decision making. These are the skills and experiences that I will bring with me as a member of your City Council. Have a great day! - Courtesy of Brenda Cecil
