Here when you need a hand up!

Many people don’t understand why or how others become so addicted to drugs or alcohol. They mistakenly think users lack moral principles or willpower. Most people think addicts can “just stop” using drugs if they really wanted to. In reality drug addiction and alcoholism are very complex diseases, and quitting usually takes more than just good intentions or a strong will.

The Bates County Community Resource Coordinator can help you. If you or someone you love is struggling with alcohol or drug addiction and wants a better life, there is hope.

Rehab or inpatient treatment is really hard to get into right now, medical detox is always an option for the more serious cases that may need medical attention while detoxing. There are many other outpatient services available right here in Bates County to help you find recovery!

Come by 13 W Dakota st in Butler Monday-Friday 9-5, email rmallatt@batescountysheriff.com, message this Facebook page, or call or text Rachelle directly at 6602273686.

Rachelle says “I offer peer support, to anyone seeking a better life. I spent 18 years of my life living in addiction, I know personally how it feels to be lost, and want a better life, I know what relapse feels like, I know the guilt and shame, all to well, that keeps you from thinking you deserve anything better. I know what grief and anger can do to you, I know what suicide is all about, I know depression and I know anxiety.....I honestly believe I went thru everything I did so I would have the skills and experiences to be able to help others thru the same things. I don’t have all the answers but I do have some of them.

Recovery looks different for every single person, there is no right or wrong answer or perfect solution, all that matters is that we keep moving forward. There is no fee or charges for what I do, no obligations, and definitely no judgment. My work is completely confidential. I promise I will work as hard as you do to help you build a recovery foundation that will give you lifelong success! Don’t wait come see me today!!”
