David John Berwick, age 56, of Raymore, Missouri, formerly of Frenchtown, New Jersey passed away unexpectedly on June 21, 2023 at home.
David was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey on January 26, 1967, the son of Albert and Susan (Kolbenheyer) Berwick. In life, David was proud to be a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran who worked and provided for his family as a truck owner/driver for his entire career. On July 14, 2018, David married the love of his life Linda. They recently moved from New Jersey to Raymore about a year ago.
David was preceded in death by his father, Albert Berwick.
He is survived by his loving wife of five years, Linda S. Berwick; his mother, Susan Berwick; sister, Karen Olshefski; two stepdaughters, Emily Slauson and Heather Hamm; nephew, Jeremy Olshefski; five step-grandchildren, Cyprus, Damien, Gabriel, William, and Makaylin.

Robert Eugene Arnold Jr. age, 58, passed away on June 14, 2023, at his home in Stockton, MO from Liver Cancer.
He is preceded in death with his daughter Melissa, his parents Robert sr. and Eldoris; sisters Carola and Roberta.
He is survived by his mate, Shelly Fields who he loved and adored; his children, Kimberly, Bruce, Wyatt and Brandon; his grandchildren; his sisters, Theresa, Jeanetta, Gina, Bobbie, Tonya, and Angela; his brothers, Rick, John and Bobby Joe; his brothers-in-law, Rick, Mike, Mark and Eddie and Bobbie; his sisters-in-law, Christine and Pam; many nieces and nephews; his best friend Mike Keith; Kim Lewellin; and many other family and friends.
Robert was born on November 5th,1964 to Robert Eugene Arnold Sr. and Eldoris Levern Arnold (Casey). Robert was one of the best people you could ever have in your life. He was loving and will be truly missed by all who were blessed enough to be a part of his life.
A celebration of life is being planned at a later date.

Murder charges filed in Miami County Kansas
On June 27, 2023, Brian Scott Meysenburg was charged in Miami County District Court on one count of Murder in the Second Degree. His bond has been set at $1,000,000.
Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Clinton
On Tuesday June 27th around 10:14 a.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Henry County along with Henry County Sheriff's Deputies and the Clinton Police Department responded to a pedestrian struck by a car at an address of 117 Rives Road in Clinton, Missouri.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the westbound 2016 Lincoln Continental by 23 year old Clint M. Donovan-Howe of Warsaw, Missouri struck 57 year old Lesa A. Scheib of Clinton as she walked into the path of the vehicle.

Loretta Marshall, age 81, formerly of Deepwater, Missouri passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at St Mary Medical Center in Blue Springs, Missouri.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 7, 2023 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel in Clinton, Missouri with a visitation from 10:00 -11:00 AM prior to the service.
Inurnment will follow in Englewood Cemetery in Clinton, Missouri. Memorial contributions can be made to the Clinton Samaritan Center and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Donald E. Hawks, age 86 of Rich Hill, Missouri passed away on June 25 at Medicalodge in Butler, Missouri. Don was born on December 2, 1936, the son of Robert James and Doris Esther (Walker) Hawks. Don was a graduate of Hume High School.
He was a rancher and in later years drove a semi truck. Don was united in marriage to Nancy Judy McElroy; she preceded him in death on August 20, 2014. He was also preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Carol Hawks; daughter-in-law, JoEllen Hawks; granddaughter, Kaycee Hawks.
Don will be greatly missed by family and friends. Don is survived by three sons: Mark Hawks of Hume, Missouri, Monty and Lisa Hawks of Metz, Missouri; Mike and Tonya Hawks of Butler, Missouri; three grandchildren, Nathan Hawks, Kaylee Hawks and Addison Hawks; two great-grandchildren, Shannon and Sammy; and one sister-in-law, Kitty and Roger Wikoff of Metz, Missouri.

Cass County man charged with drug trafficking in Osage Beach
A man from Peculiar, Mo., is charged with trafficking drugs and unlawful possession of a firearm after a traffic stop in Osage Beach.
Travis Goff was stopped by a Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force member in Osage Beach on June 21. Investigators say Goff was stopped because of a minor traffic infraction.

When the detective was talking to him, Goff was shaky and could not remove his driver’s license from his wallet without the help of his girlfriend.
Investigators say the detective found out Goff had an active warrant out of Boone County, Mo., for felony weapons charges. The court documents say when searching Goff after the arrest, a firearm was found on him.
