Strong storms possible this afternoon

A strong storm system will continue to affect the region today. As a strong cold front moves through the area this afternoon and early this evening, strong to potentially severe storms will develop. Quarter-size hail and 60 mph winds are possible in the strongest storms.

An isolated tornado can’t be ruled as well. Lastly, as colder air moves into the area overnight, snow may mix in, with little to no accumulation expected.
