Weather Update: Light Showers In Area

Photo: If you ever wonder why meteorologists are always "pulling out their hair" over a forecast, here is a good reason why. Check out the morning potential precipitation values projected from 4 different models through Tuesday and you'll quickly understand why. Word of caution: DON'T take these numbers at face value, we all know it never quite pans out as projected by model guidance.

The point here is: While we're on track to receiving rain in the next two days, there still remains quite a bit of uncertainty on where the heaviest rain may fall. Some folks may get quite a bit, while others may not. We'll keep you updated!

Light to moderate rain has moved into the region. There will be breaks in the rain later this morning and early this afternoon with additional rain developing this evening and lasting through Tuesday morning. The heaviest rain will come tonight. The region has been exceptionally dry for the last nearly two months but, are you happy to finally be seeing rain?
