The Bates County Sheriffs Office responded to RR1 Box 252A Amoret, Missouri. The Deputies were there in search of Earnest Schmidt. Schmidt was wanted for Parole Violation for Burglary, Stealing and failing to complete a drug treatment program. In conjunction to the warrant, Bates County Detectives wanted to speak with Schmidt in reference to an assault and several burglaries in the area.
